Fuelled by the belief that classic jazz feeds the heart and soul, THE HOT SARDINES are on a mission to make old sounds new again and prove that joyful music can bring people together in a disconnected world.
Led by Evan Palazzo and Elizabeth Bougerol, this group of irreverent, effortlessly swinging, early-jazz aficionados channel New York speakeasies, Parisian cabarets, and New Orleans jazz halls from past eras into music for the 21st century. Hear the era-defining sounds of Duke Ellington, Benny Goodman, and Louis Armstrong, alongside music by expatriate bandleader Sam Wooding and innovative touches from Kurt Weill and Bertolt Brecht.
