When is the Theatre re-opening?
The Flato Markham Theatre is now open.
Do I need to show proof of vaccination to attend a performance at the Flato Markham Theatre?
As of Monday March 21, 2022, patrons attending performances at the Flato Markham Theatre will no longer be asked to show their Proof of Vaccination QR code.
Is the Box Office open?
The Flato Markham Theatre Box Office is open 12:00 PM - 5:00 PM, Monday – Friday at 905-305-7469. Outside of those hours, please leave us a message, we are committed to answering all messages within one-two business days.
CLOSED December 25 & 26, 2023 and January 1, 2024
I have tickets to a rescheduled show - what do I need to do?
Your original ticket(s) is/are still valid for the new date so please hold on to them. Nothing else needs to be done on your part and you do not need to confirm with the Box Office.
What should I do if I can't make the rescheduled date?
If you cannot make the new date, call the Box Office at 905.305.7469 as you have four options:

Donate the value of your ticket(s) to the Theatre and receive a tax receipt

Keep the value of your ticket(s) as a credit on your account to be used in the future

Have the value transferred to a gift certificate

Receive a refund of your original purchase
For what can I use an account credit or gift certificate?
An account credit, or gift certificate, can be used towards any future ticket or subscription purchase(s) for the Flato Markham Theatre Diamond Season.
I would like a refund for ticket(s) that I purchased. Can you process the refund for me? (Rescheduled/Cancelled shows only. All other ticket purchases are final)
Due to federal payment privacy laws, the Theatre's system does not keep credit card information on record. In order to process a refund one of our agents will need to obtain your credit card number again.
Please do not leave your credit card number on the Theatre's voice mail.
How long will my refund take?
Prior to the pandemic, the refund would be processed by your credit card company in 2-5 days. However, as all companies are dealing with an influx of refunds, we have found that the processing time, with the credit card companies, may take longer.
Can I still rent space at the theatre?
Yes, the Flato Markham Theatre is available for rent. For theatre rental inquiries, please contact Scott Hill at shill@markham.ca.

I won tickets to a performance that has been rescheduled, what should I do?
If you have already processed your tickets then hold on to them as they are valid for the new dates. If the new date doesn't work then the Theatre would be happy to try and find another performance once we re-open.

- Online Ticket Handling Charges: A $2 per ticket service fee (includes applicable taxes) will be added to all online ticket sales.
- Show end times are not guaranteed and may vary depending on the artist. Choose Your Own Subscription Discounts are not available on the 2023 Discovery Gala. Discounts cannot be combined with any other offer. Subject to regular fees. Discounts on base ticket price, not including handling fees and HST. All sales final.
TICKET TERMS & CONDITIONS
All sales are final, no refunds. Exchanges are not permitted on single ticket sales, except in the case of event cancellation. Subscribers of the current Diamond Season may exchange tickets up to 72 hours before their performance, for a program within the same series and season; subject to availability. Exchanges may be subject to a service chanrge.
If your performance is postponed or rescheduled, we will automatically move your tickets to a new date; however, you will still have the option of asking for a credit on your FMT account, a gift card or a full refund for that performance.
Prices include HST. All artists, programs and shows may be rescheduled, changed or cancelled without notice. Terms & Conditions are subject to change.
