SAFETY MEASURES

When attending a performance at the Flato Markham Theatre patrons can feel safe and comfortable knowing that we are taking measures to protect you and our community.

Face Coverings
As of Monday March 21, 2022, the wearing of masks/face coverings will be optional for patrons attending performances at the Flato Markham Theatre. 

On November 14, 2022, the Provincial Medical Officer of Health, Dr. Kieran Moore, strongly recommended that Ontarians resume wearing masks in public indoor settings to protect against respiratory viruses including COVID-19, flu and RSV (Respiratory Syncytial Virus). 

Sanitization Stations
We've installed new hand sanitizer stations all throughout our venue and encourage all patrons and staff to make use of them.

Ticket Scanning
Ticket scanning has been implemented to minimize physical contact. We recommend all patrons bring digital ticket versions on their phones for access but print at home tickets are still offered.

Cleaning and Disinfecting
New, more stringent measures are in place to ensure the auditorium and all public areas are properly cleaned and disinfected after every performance. Flato Markham Theatre has also added increased filtration to the venue’s HVAC system.

Coat Check & Concessions 
Flato Markham Theatre Coat Check is now open. Food and beverages are now available for purchase. 

PROOF OF VACCINATION

As of Monday March 21, 2022, patrons attending performances at the Flato Markham Theatre will no longer be asked to show their Proof of Vaccination QR code.

The team at FMT is looking forward to safely welcoming you back to the Theatre. When it comes to purchasing tickets, our goal is to be as flexible as possible in order to provide you with the assurance to make ticket purchases with confidence.

The Flato Markham Theatre is offering flexible ticket exchanges. If your performance is postponed or rescheduled, we will automatically move your tickets to a new date; however, you will still have the option of asking for a credit on your FMT account, a gift card or a full refund for that performance.

Prices include HST. All artists, programs and shows may be rescheduled, changed or cancelled without notice. Terms & Conditions are subject to change.
