TICKET TERMS & CONDITIONS

All patrons, including babes in arms must have a ticket for entry due to fire code.

All sales are final, no refunds. Exchanges are not permitted on single ticket sales, except in the case of event cancellation. Subscribers of the current Diamond Season may exchange tickets up to 72 hours before their performance, for a program within the same series and season; subject to availability. Exchanges may be subject to a service change. 
Discounts cannot be combined with any other offer. Subject to regular fees.

If your performance is postponed or rescheduled, we will automatically move your tickets to a new date; however, you will still have the option of asking for a credit on your FMT account, a gift card or a full refund for that performance.

Prices include HST. All artists, programs and shows may be rescheduled, changed or cancelled without notice. Terms & Conditions are subject to change. 

Online Ticket Handling Charges: A $2 per ticket service fee (includes applicable taxes) will be added to all online ticket sales.

Directions & Parking

Flato Markham Theatre is located on the northwest corner of Warden Ave and Highway 7, less than 30 minutes from Downtown Toronto via the Don Valley Parkway/Highway 404.
Parking is located in front of the theatre and is free of charge. 
Additional free parking can be found to the South, in front of the Markham Civic Centre.

Scents

Scented products such as hair spray, perfume, and cologne can trigger reactions such as respiratory distress and headaches. Patrons are asked to not use scented products when attending a performance or visiting the Flato Markham Theatre.

Patrons Requiring Assistance

If you require assistance to your seat, please let us know by contacting the Theatre Box Office at 905.305.7469 or [email protected], so that we may provide the appropriate service. Please arrive at least 30 minutes before the performance begins so our Front of House team can offer timely assistance. 

Please Note: The Balcony seating is Stair Access Only. There is a Women's washroom on the balcony level. Men's, Women's and Accessible washrooms are found in the main floor lobby. 

Theatre Phone Etiquette

  1. Silence Your Phone: Always turn off or put your phone on silent mode before the performance begins. Even vibrations can be distracting in a quiet theatre. 
  2. Avoid Bright Screens: If you must use your phone (for instance, to check the time), be mindful of the brightness. Dim your screen to avoid disturbing those around you.
  3. Limit Use: Avoid using your phone during the performance. If you need to check the time or take a photo, do so discreetly and quickly.
  4. Be Aware of Your Surroundings: In a dark theatre, even small actions like raising your phone can block someone’s view or distract those around you. Please be mindful of how your phone usage affects others. Avoid obstructing views or creating distractions.
  5. No Flash Photography: If the performance permits photography, please do not use flash to protect performers and maintain the atmosphere.
  6. Respect the Experience: Remember that the concert or theatre performance is an immersive experience for everyone. Your phone should not detract from that experience for you or those around you. 

Ticket Resellers & Third Party Ticket Sites

Beware of Ticket Resellers & third party ticket sites! The Only place to buy tickets to FMT performances is at flatomarkhamtheatre.ca.
Third-party sellers usually mark up prices (often in US Dollars) and tickets may not even be valid, which means you might miss out on your show!
Flato Markham Theatre bears no responsibility for tickets bought through third-party websites and are unfortunately unable to assist with any related issues.
